Animo Labs was established through the 2016 DOST TBI Grant from PCIEERD, a government agency under DOST that funds tech-based startups and R&D. It became DLSU’s technology business incubator, supporting innovators through mentorship, funding, and industry networks. Now, Animo Labs has merged with the DLSU Science Foundation (DLSU-SF), the university’s arm for advancing research, innovation, and enterprise. This merger strengthens its role in bridging academia and industry, driving startup growth from idea to commercialization.

Mission

Empowering innovation and technopreneurship, we bridge groundbreaking research, inventions, and sustainable solutions with real-world opportunities. As a premier university-based technology business incubator and fabrication laboratory, we champion technology, sustainability, and innovation to shape a better society and drive national progress.

Vision

To be a catalyst for innovation and entrepreneurship by nurturing startups and spin-offs, empowering founders through coaching, mentorship training, and collaborative programs- driving sustainable impact within the university, industries, and society.

The ANIMO Framework

We’re shaping the community by fostering a culture of entrepreneurship. Our mission is to support committed founders with the resources they need to succeed—from personalized guidance and a dedicated incubation program to strategic connections with partners and investors. As they grow, we help them reach critical milestones and scale their ventures with confidence.
